February has so far been a very positive month here at Dove Dental Care and here are a couple of things we're pleased to share with you!
A recent Primary Care Trust evaluation of Dove Dental Care has demonstrated that we comply and exceed all requirements of the PCT's Standard, a reassurance that Dove Dental Care continues to provide an exceptionally high level of treatment to our valued patients.

We always strive to provide the greatest levels of comfort to our patients and a simple, but none the less superb technique we find ensures optimum relaxation is to bring your MP3 player along to listen to your favourite music when you visit us.
This month we'd like you to let us know your favourite pieces of music to play at the dentist. We invite you to share this information on our Facebook Page. -Tips & Tricks: Don't Wait For Pain |

We're only too aware that many patients wait until they feel pain in their teeth and gums before seeking dental advice. By this time though, much of the damage can already be done!
Pain is actually a very poor indicator of the state of your teeth. A tooth can have a small amount of recession and be very painful, but conversely, it can go through a high level of decay and can form a chronic abscess with no pain felt. Also, gum disease can lead to the process of bone loss, tooth mobility and subsequent loss without it even hurting too!
So just because its not hurting you does not mean everything's fine. Preventative care, rather than undergoing expensive restorative treatment, is by far the best option.
