We've done it again: A recent Care Quality Inspection went very well, with Dove Dental Care demonstrating compliance with flying colours
The inspection, conducted by the Care Quality Commission, a body responsible for the regulation, inspection and review of all adult social care services in the public, private and voluntary sectors in England, lasted 4 hours and evaluated all aspects of Dove's practice management. It included; cross infection control, equality, diversity, confidentiality and IT.
All of our staff played a big part in preparing for the inspection through ongoing training programmes and we were very proud to receive email confirmation of our compliance. |

When it comes to masking minor tooth imperfections, from gaps to stains, consider learning more about Micro Composite Fillings.
Micro Composite Fillings involve a minimally invasive procedure which uses the very latest composite materials to provide very even looking and strong teeth.
Following an initial consultation, the composites can be applied onto teeth to mask stains, change shapes, to fill gaps and align spacing, and also reducing future tooth surface loss.
To learn more about Micro Composite Fillings and other non invasive treatments please get in touch with our friendly and professional team.

-Tips & Tricks: Discoloured Teeth |

Nobody likes yellow and discoloured teeth, but over brushing is not the solution to a gleaming white smile!
It is a misconception that if you over brush your teeth that you'll be whitening them. You may actually be contributing to their discolouration. The use of stiff brushes and vigorous over cleaning can wear down enamel, revealing the darker, yellow core of the tooth. So often, the more people brush, the darker and more sensitive their teeth can become.
To achieve white teeth, gentle brushing is the way forward. Should your teeth have nicotine, red wine and other deposits, a hygienist will be ale to remove these in one sitting.
But to achieve white teeth, you may want to consider one of our whitening procedures, undertaken in surgery or at home.
